Scope of Work: The project is proposed in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. The Project site is located on the Tahuk village Stream  near Nazonga nallah in Kullu Dist project is accessed through main mandi-kullu highway NH-5 on left side of RiverParvati. The project is located between longitude altitude at weir is 2292 m above sea level.


Salient Features:

  •  A 10m long trench type diversion weir across Nazonga stream with crest an intake structure is proposed on left bank of the stream to collect water from trench type weir.
  • A 120m long MS pipe of 0.45 m dia, will carry water from intake and deliver it to D-tank
  • A De-silting chamber 18m long, 2m wide, 2m high to exclude silt particles above to 0.15 mm during the monsoon.
  • A 129 m long 0.20 m Dia MS pipe weir to D-tank.
  • The Fore Bay tank having size of 6 x 3m x 3.85 m/ balancing storage ± 2 minutes storage 45 Cum
  • Penstock of about 710 m long, 350 mm dia thickness varing b/w 10 mm to 12 mm.
  • Powerhouse of size 15 m wide, 12 m long and about 6.00 m high up to crane level on the left bank of Nazonga capacity and one no.of 2x450KW capacity turbine.
  • Transmission of hydropower envisages evacuation of 0.90MW power.
